Mark Garrett: Mr. Garrett is the co-founder and President of Right Side Realty Corp. His responsibilities include Strategic Planning, Portfolio Management, Limited Partnerships, Key Client Development and Custom Client Solutions Development. 

Mr. Garrett has been an active entrepreneur since 2003 providing investment opportunities to purchase rental properties to individual clients and investors.  Mr. Garrett has been instrumental in raising significant amounts of capital for real estate investments and to date has successfully completed 56 property transactions.  Mr. Garrett currently holds 40 residential rental properties worth over $5.8M in his portfolio. 

Mr. Garrett began his career as a business development manager for a leading international third party supply chain management firm.  Mr. Garrett’s primary responsibilities involved advanced analyses and development of, supply chain and infrastructure solutions.  Mr. Garrett has delivered numerous warehouse and transportation solutions for national and international clients in the consumer goods, manufacturing, automotive, grocery and garment industries. Mr. Garrett managed the development of annual operating budgets from $1,000,000 to $50,000,000 involving labour planning, site selection, financial planning and implementation.

Mr. Garrett graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain Management and Marketing.  Mr. Garrett and his wife Carol live in Toronto. 

John Hare: Mr Hare is the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer for Right Side Realty Corp and is responsible for Strategic Planning & Development, Financial Management and Reporting, and Operations Management.

Mr. Hare began building his personal Real Estate portfolio in Ontario and Alberta in 2003.  Mr. Hare currently holds 13 residential rental properties worth over $2.0M in his portfolio. 

Previously, Mr. Hare worked at Deloitte Inc. as a Manager in the Strategy and Operations practice specializing in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement and providing leadership and expertise to world class organizations.  Prior to Deloitte, Mr. Hare was a Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement – North American Operations for a leading third party supply chain management company.  Mr. Hare has a diverse background in multi-million dollar project management, financial controllership and operations management, new business development, continuous process improvement, International operational start-ups and turnarounds.  Mr. Hare is a recognized international supply chain professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and eProcurement, supply chain strategy, operations management, supply chain process redesign and implementation, and change management.  Mr. Hare has held executive and senior supply chain positions in manufacturing, consumer goods, warehousing, and distribution, in Canada, the United States, Argentina, and the United Kingdom. 

Mr. Hare is a Certified Management Accountant holding an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, with an undergraduate Honours degree in Finance from Brock University.

Chris Black: Mr. Black is the Senior Vice President, Client Solutions at Right Side Realty Corp.

Prior to joining Right Side in 2008, Mr. Black spent 20 years in the Management Consulting field, most recently as an Associate Partner with IBM’s Global Business Services division and as a Principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Management Consulting division.  Along with professional Consulting, Mr. Black has held key Director-level Business Development roles in 3 successful startup Technology Firms. 

An experienced real estate investor, and a veteran at building and growing services practices, Mr. Black brings his talents to Right Side’s 1-on-1 Retail Investment Division where he is responsible for managing and growing the core fundraising (sales) team. 

Mr. Black holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.
